How To Easily Schedule Your Tweets Using Twitter and JARVEE

Social Media is still a hot topic these days. Instagram is growing exponentially, reaching over 800 million monthly active users as of the end of 2017. Meanwhile, Twitter is reinventing itself by expanding its character limit for the first time. And now its actively fighting against spam and hate speech, making the platform even more attractive for its users and speeding up its growth that stalled for a brief moment last summer.

These days people read the news first on Twitter, they make their shopping lists on Pinterest, recruiting on LinkedIn and family reunions on Facebook. There’s no doubt that to survive as a business; you need to be present on all the relevant social platforms.

But all these platforms are time-consuming. Researching, curating content, finding the right audience and sharing your content at the right times is getting harder and harder when everything is happening so fast.

In one of my previous blog posts, I showed you how easy it is to Schedule your Post on Facebook and how to use JARVEE to schedule them faster and more efficient. This time, I’ll show you how to use the scheduling capabilities of Twitter itself, to regain one of the most precious assets we can have: time.

We will also discover how to schedule your tweets even faster by using JARVEE.

Setting Up Your Twitter To Enable Scheduler

The scheduling feature on Twitter is not that obvious to every user; that’s why I’m sure it’s extremely underused by social media marketers.

Twitter made this a bit trickier to use, so I’ll show you what you need to do to enable the Scheduler feature for your tweets.

Step #1 First, go to https://ads.twitter.com, choose the Ads tab and select your country and a permanent time zone. Click “Let’s Go” to continue.

Step #2 Go back to https://ads.twitter.com. If you never used Twitter’s ads platform, then you will see only the “Analytics” menu in the top left corner of the screen. To be able to schedule your tweets you need the “Creatives” menu that will appear after you add a payment method. To do this, choose the “Add new payment method” option under your name in the right corner. Don’t worry, your credit card will not be charged. We just need to enter it so that all the other options will appear.

Step 3 As you can see, I have several new menu items like Campaign, Creatives, and Tools. Also, if you look in the top-right corner, right next to your profile picture, you will see a “New Tweet” button.

You now have to options:

  • click on the New Tweet button, next to the profile picture. You will enter the Tweet composer screen, where you can write your post, click on the Schedule button and select the date for your post.

  • or, from the Creatives menu, select “Tweets”. Click on the New Tweet button and you will enter the same Tweet composer screen where you can add your message and schedule your tweet.

Step 4 After you entered your message and selected the date and time when you want to be posted, you can click on the Schedule button and lastly click Finish. You can view your scheduled tweets any time you want from Creatives > Tweets.

So this is how you schedule your tweets on Twitter. Not too difficult, but a bit tricky to find this feature.

Using JARVEE To Schedule Your Tweets

Now that you know how to schedule your tweets using Twitter let’s see a new and easy way to schedule your tweets, this time using JARVEE. But first, let’s see why you should choose JARVEE.

Top 3 reasons why you should start using JARVEE to schedule your tweets

  • Easy set up – If you have multiple Twitter accounts, then setting up your scheduling feature for each one will prove to be a tedious job, unless you use JARVEE. With a few clicks, you can add as many Twitter accounts as you want and start scheduling your content right away.
  • No credit card necessary – With Twitter you need to set up your account using your credit card in order for the twitter’s scheduling feature to show up. However, if you have 10 twitter accounts, then you also need 10 credit cards which I know most of us don’t have.
  • More scheduling capabilities and automation tools – Scheduling your tweets using Twitter’s feature is very limited as you can tell by watching the screenshots. On the other hand, JARVEE has the ability to schedule your tweets for all of your Twitter accounts in just one setting. You can also upload multiple tweets or hundred of tweets at once using the software instead of manually entering it one by one on twitter and scheduling each of them. You can use spin syntax for your posts, automatically add hashtags and the list goes on.

The point is, if you have 1 twitter account, then using Twitter’s scheduling feature is pretty convenient and may also prove useful, but if you have 2 or more accounts then you may find JARVEE to be a lot more better alternative.

Not to mention that with JARVEE you can add your social accounts for other platforms too, like Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Youtube or Google+. This way you can create cross-platform scheduling campaigns in minutes!

Now let’s see how to set up your tweets using JARVEE.

Step #1 Add your Twitter accounts to JARVEE using the Social Profiles tab by clicking the ADD PROFILE.

Step #2 Enter your login details and click Verify Account and wait for it to be Validated.

Step #3 In the Destination Lists tab, click ADD DESTINATION LIST.

A new window will come up where you can select your Twitter accounts. Make sure you check the checkbox under the “wall” column so that your posts will be published on your Twitter wall. The destination list will be a list of the social accounts where you want to schedule your posts. As you can see is not limited to Twitter only. You can add as many destinations (social profiles, pages or groups) as you want.

Step #4 Create your scheduling Campaign by going to the Campaign tab and clicking ADD CAMPAIGN

If you are going to use Twitter to publish a moderate amount of posts, then always use the STANDARD CAMPAIGN. Standard campaigns are designed to publish updates, statuses, and posts to your wall more efficiently and at optimal times. You just have to choose the number of daily posts and JARVEE will do the rest. However, if you want to choose the exact hours for your posts, then you should choose SCHEDULED CAMPAIGN.

Step #5 A new window will come up where you can edit your campaign settings:

Overview Tab – In the overview tab, you can rename your campaign to any name you want so that you can distinguish it from your other campaigns.

What To Publish Tab – In this tab, you can see different options for your posting sources.

You can

  • add a regular Post
  • search and add posts from specific URLs from Pinterest, Twitter or Facebook
  • add posts from RSS feeds
  • set up folders (shared or not) with images so that JARVEE will monitor, extract images and automatically create new posts
  • customize your posts with “clickable image” functionality (you can choose a custom image for your links)
  • share your page posts to other groups.
  • or search and add posts from Flickr

For this example, we will be using a regular post with an image. You can also add multiple posts at once just by clicking the “ADD MULTIPLE TEXT POSTS” button. Or you can add multiple images at once by clicking the “ADD MULTIPLE IMAGE POSTS” button.

After you create the new post, just click the “ADD TO POST LIST” button.

Where To Publish Tab – Select the Destination List that you have already created, and that contains your Twitter accounts where you want to publish.

When To Publish Tab – You can schedule all of your tweets from here. You can select how many posts per day you want to publish and at what times you want your posts to be published. You can also select and deselect the days that you want JARVEE to publish or stop publishing. As you can see, the scheduling feature of JARVEE is very versatile and you can set it up the way you want to.

Step #6 Now all we have to do is to start the campaign that’s it. Just go to the Overview Tab and click the “START PUBLISHING” button and you’re done.

When you have new content, you can just go to the “What to Publish” tab and add your content, or you can just import it from RSS feeds and free up some more time.

The Importance Of Instagram Videos And How To Use Them For Your Business

Are you wondering how to set up Instagram videos and how you can make your business more visible on social channels?

Are you wondering how to make images and videos work for your business? Then let me tell you the importance of Instagram videos and how you can use them to grow your business.

Instagram is not only for those in the food or fashion industry; it is for all businesses big or small.

Fun fact: Instagram is a blend of the words instant camera and telegram.

It is one of the many social networking platforms that you could use for your business to take pictures and videos then share them on Instagram or other social media networks like Facebook, Twitter and the likes. Learn more about this social platform and you will see the importance of videos marketing and how to include it in your marketing strategy.

Instagram is centered on visual content where users can edit or post photos and short videos of up to 15 seconds but no text updates like what is commonly used on Facebook or Twitter.

How to Create an Instagram Account

Before you sign up for an account, you need to download the app to your mobile device since Instagram is a mobile-only app. It is a free app and can be found in both Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. There are two ways of signing up; one is by connecting through Facebook and your personal information is automatically gathered by Instagram which includes the email you used for Facebook and your profile picture. And the second is by putting in your email address which is preferred by some to keep personal and business information separate.

Just like most social networking platforms, you would have the option to edit your profile information and the likes. But in this article, we will focus on making Instagram videos and how to use them for your business.

The first thing you need to know is how to navigate the app. It is pretty simple since at the bottom of the app are the five buttons where you need to go, and these are the Home tab, Search tab, a Camera button, an Activity tab and, of course, your Profile tab.

How to Create an Instagram Content

As I mentioned earlier, Instagram is all about photos or videos. Just tap on the camera button and it will ask you if you want to take a new photo or a new video, or simply select something from your phone’s gallery. After you tap on the next button, you can already start editing your photos or your video.

The next tab is for the Filters, Lux, and Editing tools. Filters are where you can scroll through photo filters that are available to you and help you to change the colors of your images, making them more attractive. Clicking on the desired filter will automatically change your photo, so it is easier to choose the right one. When you tap on the name of the filter, it will show you a slider to adjust its transparency. This is how the #nofilter came to be because it shows your true photo without being enhanced by Instagram filters.

The Lux will adjust the sharpness or exposure of your photos. The Tools section, however, has several options like Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Highlights which are all self-explanatory. And there is an Adjust feature which straightens or rotates your images. Vignette will darken your photo’s edges and Tilt-Shift will blur the outside of the images.

Instagram videos are a bit similar to the options for your images but with slight differences like instead of 3 options, Instagram videos have 4 options.  The first option is still about adding Filters. Second is how the video will fit on the screen. The third is choosing a cover frame. And fourth is all about the audio if you want to mute it or not.

Now, why is learning to put an Instagram video so important for your business? Because of the ways you can interact with your target audience and your subscribers:

#1 Instagram Direct – lets users interact privately. Just go to Instagram’s homepage, that’s where you can find Instagram Direct. It lets you send a photo/video which you upload from your gallery. And if you want to send a message instead, you can choose the Send Message option, and you will be taken to a chat screen where you can type your message.

#2 Mentions – just like on Twitter, Instagram lets you @MentionSomeoneHere which can call the attention of whomever you “mention” in your Instagram post.

#3 People Tagging – just like on Facebook, Instagram allows users to “Tag” a certain photo or video to widen the scope of your image or Instagram video.

#4 Liking Photos or Instagram Videos – is the simplest way to connect with someone on Instagram. But instead of the “thumbs up” sign of Facebook, Instagram has a “heart” symbol to show you like the photo or the Instagram videos you’ve come across with.

#5 Instagram Comments – lets you comment on photos and videos via a simple tap on the comment button which will take you to a text box where you can type your message, then hitting the Send button will complete the Instagram comment.

#6 Hashtags – lets other users find your #Instagram content like what’s being used on Twitter and Facebook already. These #hashtags let you check out the competition or those in a similar niche as your brand.

#7 Photo Locations – allow users to add their location which will automatically map out where you’ve been and generate local followers and of course gain additional interaction. You can also see nearby locations which could attract more customers.

How to Advertise on Instagram

Another way that you can use Instagram for your business is through advertising which will appear on the users’ home feeds. Advertising on Instagram can be done with Photo Ads, which allows you to posts photos. But since it is used in advertising, there is an added option to “Learn More” about the “Sponsored Label” found in the photo.

Instagram videos can also be used as Video Ads which is similar to the Photo Ads since it has the “Learn More” button and shows the “Sponsored Label”.

If you want to use multiple photos, you can use Carousel Ads where users can swipe through the photos and see more of what you are trying to advertise.

Creating an Instagram content could be challenging at times, but your photo or your Instagram videos can reach a wide array of your targeted audience which is great for any business or brands. It allows you to share a visual story which could get your subscribers wanting more. Instagram can showcase your creativity which can lure your target audience to your business.

Instagram could give your business that much needed boost because with these photos and Instagram videos, you can disseminate information about ongoing events and promotions. Or even embed these Instagram posts on your website to show your followers and subscribers that your brand or business has an Instagram account, and they are more likely to follow you there too.

Do remember that links do not work on Instagram. It will only work on your profile, so no use of putting it in the captions or photo comments. Instead, add a note on the Instagram video captions or on the photo comments that the website link can be found on your profile. This can help your audience to a specific webpage.

Wrapping it Up

After creating an Instagram account, be sure to learn how to fully navigate it properly so that you can abuse the full potential of Instagram and how it can help your business. Use Instagram Direct, Mentions and People Tagging to maximize the reach of your photos and Instagram Videos. Be constant in liking photos or videos to interact with your audience.

Links don’t work in Instagram comments or captions, and best to put it in your profile instead. Use #hashtags and steer clear of the 30 hashtags allowable in Instagram. Keep it to a minimum. Don’t be a hashtag abuser. See also the tips in our previous article on how you can use the hashtags in the comments, so you can have your posts nice and clean.

Make use of the photo locations options to entice local subscribers to your brand or business.

If you’ve got the resources, then delve into the world of Instagram advertising and explore even more possibilities to broaden your reach.

Use other social networking platforms to share your photos and Instagram videos. Use automation if you have and if you can. Be diligent in sharing; schedule it if you know how. Hope you’ve seen the importance of Instagram videos and how to use them for your business.

Jarvee Review – The Best Mass Planner Alternative Of 2018

So Just What Is This Jarvee?

Jarvee is a social media scheduling and automation tool plus much much more. If you have a need for creating tons of content on multiple platforms but aren’t interested in logging in multiple times a day to upload then this is the solution for you.

Jarvee works on Facebook, Twitter Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+ and Tumblr. It’s a one-stop shop for managing and posting all of your content across these platforms and its efficiency goes beyond simply scheduling.

A Review of Jarvee – Multi-Platform Automation

It’s been proven that organic growth can be driven by automation. Each platform has their own specific protocols, but generally, the principle of reciprocity is in permanent effect on social media. People love to be noticed and Jarvee takes advantage of this to your advantage.

On Instagram, this means following, unfollowing and following back. Direct messages, auto-likes and comments are used. Like with Twitter hashtags are taken advantage of and all of this means you’re casting a greater (but more targeted) net within your niche. All of this while you focus on things offline.

With Facebook, Jarvee may find grounds within your niche, contact potential customers and constantly update the page in your stead with content. This program based activity will look like a normal person just using the platform, but an active page will always attract more people.

Similar specific tactics are used on each of the respective platforms. Imagine the time you’d spend constantly updating, uploading and engaging on just Facebook, Instagram and Twitter if you have 1,000 followers on each.

Assuming the usual 10% consistently engage every upload that’s still 300 people. A good chunk of your day is going to that. Every. Single. Day. Jarvee says otherwise.

Jarvee automates a range of social media platforms

So What Does Jarvee Cost?

When compared to the cost of a professional social media team, Jarvee is almost free and if you only plan to test their services for 5 days it literally is. They’re offering a free 5-day trial at the moment. After that, you’d chose from one of three plans.

The Starter Plan – $19.95 per month for 10 social media accounts

The Professional Plan – $49.95 per month for 70 social media accounts

The Premium Plan $69.95 per month for 150 social media accounts

All accounts come with premium support.

For these prices you get the content scheduling, targeting options to help assist in finding exactly who you need to reach out to grab your goals and management of multiple accounts. This all results in account growth with minimal hands of operation from you. If you ever hit a snag the customer service is there.

P.S. There are more features like content importing via RSS and auto-hashtagging, but you should check the product out yourself to see them all. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Jarvee is downloadable software that runs on Windows

Is Jarvee a Scam? Is Jarvee Safe?

So, to answer my own question from the title : Definitely not a scam, it’s the best thing that ever happened to my social media work this year ! So I recommend it wholeheartedly.

But is it safeYes and no. If you set it up properly is should be very safe for your accounts, but set things too aggressively and well ….

The Wrap Up

Creating a start-up and getting it off the ground is difficult. Continuing to grow your business is more so. Doing all of that and finding the time to properly run the necessary social media to get the word out can be all consuming and nigh impossible without help.

Luckily there is a multitude of options to make you can stay at the helm of your business and your social media accounts remain a beacon for customers to find you.

  1. Abandon the concept of sleep and personal time – you can truthfully run your business, create content and engage your followers if you’re willing to accept that your personal life and 6-8 hours of rest are things of the past.

If you’re able to function and manage your time well maybe you’ll get everything running smoothly and eventually hire others to delegate your dozens of tasks to before you inevitably crash.

  1. Hire a team of professional social media managers and use your time to focus solely on your business and your personal life – for those with a budget that allows this, I’d definitely suggest going this route.

If your business already has a high-level investment be it from you or outside sources, put some into social media and focus your attention on the business itself and coordinating with your team to create content. You’ll be happier this way.

  1. Automation – everyone isn’t willing to give up every hour of their day or invest possible hundreds of dollars (US) per month into social media teams. These individuals are more or less left with choosing to let either their business or social media lag behind.

While the obvious choice is to get to your account later this isn’t always easy or even necessary. Automation enables you to more or less ‘set and forget’ your way to organic growth and engagement. You simply check it occasionally to gather data, schedule more content and learn how you can improve performance.

Number 3 is where Jarvee comes in.
